Fog Lamp Station FAQ

Common questions for players starting or returning to Fog Lamp Station.

Playing the game

A typical run takes about 20 to 30 minutes once you know the interface. First runs may take longer because the topology, resource chips, and route blockers ask you to read before committing.

The game is playable on desktop and mobile browsers. Desktop gives more room for the Action Deck and topology, while mobile stacks the story, actions, and intel panels.

Saves and privacy

The game stores saves in localStorage in your browser. The site does not require an account, and current game progress is not uploaded to a site server by the browser-side game.

Export save JSON if you want to move progress between browsers or keep a backup. Import only save text that you trust.

Routes and endings

There are seven recorded outcomes. Some are successful or ambiguous routes; others are failure outcomes caused by unsafe resources, weak signal conditions, or incomplete preparation.

If a final route is locked, read the blocker label. Evidence gaps can usually be repaired in station rooms, while safety and resource failures need preparation before the final choice.
