Save, Import, and Export Guide
Keep a run, move it between browsers, or recover from local browser storage changes.
Local saves
Each playable game saves its current run, settings, and ending records in this browser. Fog Lamp Station and Black Well Radio use separate local save keys, so importing or deleting one game should not overwrite the other.
Autosave runs after choices and recovery actions. Clearing browser data, changing profiles, using strict private browsing, or blocking storage can remove or prevent local saves.
Export and import
Use Export Save when you want a text backup of the current run. The exported JSON can be stored outside the browser and imported later from the Save panel.
Only import save JSON you trust. Import replaces the current run state, while unlocked ending records are merged so completed outcomes are not lost during normal import.
Troubleshooting
If a save does not appear, check whether the browser is in private mode or whether local storage is blocked. If import fails, make sure the full JSON text was copied and that it belongs to the same game version.
If a route looks wrong after import, restart a run and use the ending archive to confirm whether the issue is save data, route logic, or an outdated exported file.
