Six recorded outcomes

Black Well Radio records six outcomes. They branch from the final fader, but the final click is only the last visible step. Earlier choices decide signal quality, air safety, composure, tape proof, relay control, and whether the third segment has been changed.

  • Ending A: Clear Broadcast
  • Ending B: Silent Broadcast
  • Ending C: Reverse Testimony
  • Ending D: Hand-Crank Escape
  • Ending E: Automatic Broadcast
  • Ending F: Stay in the Well

Truth and escape routes

Silent Broadcast and Reverse Testimony are the clearest evidence routes. Silent Broadcast depends on cutting the third segment before transmission. Reverse Testimony depends on discovering the coordinates hidden in reversed playback and staying composed enough to use them.

Hand-Crank Escape is a gray route. It can save the player without resolving what the station was built to broadcast. Stay in the Well is a containment route that requires the strongest evidence and the willingness to close the relay from below.

Failure routes

Clear Broadcast can look successful if the distress call reaches the surface before enough tape evidence is collected, but it leaves the loop intact. Automatic Broadcast is the hard failure: the station sends the third segment whole when power or composure collapses into the wrong route.

Use the final audit to separate missing evidence from failed safety. Evidence can be recovered. Air, power, and composure failures must be repaired before committing.
