Fog Lamp Station Beginner Guide
Do not chase the whole truth on the first night. Stabilize the lamp, then find the key and a power route.
This guide can affect the discovery experience. For a blind run, return to the game page and finish one playthrough first.
First objective
Your first priority is lamp stability. Fuel is scarce, but low lamp pressure makes fog and risk escalate too early. Add fuel first, then use the hall and station map routes to create a safe interior loop.
The early game is no longer solved by rushing one ending branch. Build a safety boundary, reveal the first topology nodes, and make sure the Action Deck keeps offering prepared routes instead of desperate choices.
Recommended opening route
A stable route starts with fuel, station map review, pressure notes, storage supplies, and generator preparation. Search the main desk before you rely on the watch room, because the watch key is now recoverable from the hall if you missed it earlier.
Use the Action Deck notes: cost chips show time or resource changes, disabled route buttons explain blockers, and recovery hints tell you where evidence or safety preparation can be repaired before the final commitment.
- Add fuel before outdoor exploration
- Reveal Lamp System, Generator Repair, and Radio Voice before chasing final choices
- Return indoors if Heat approaches 40
- Treat evidence gaps as recoverable, but do not commit with failed safety
How to read the topology
The topology panel shows Acts, route lanes, node states, and seven outcome nodes. It is meant to answer where you are in the investigation, not replace the Action Deck.
Current and available nodes tell you what route is open now. Locked final nodes usually mean you need more clues, more map depth, or safer resource conditions. The Endings node branches into all recorded outcomes after final routes open.
When to use the radio
The radio raises signal but can pressure Mind. Use it to ground the receiver, map the waveform, and turn the voice into evidence instead of simply answering it.
Without enough clues, a broadcast route may remain weak. With archive records, seawall evidence, signal strength, and enough Mind, the same system can support Truth Broadcast or Rescue.
